The family have asked us to extend an open invite the the funeral and wake to everyone who knew him, everyone is welcome. ![]()

The funeral is on 27th December at 10.20am. It will be at York crematorium followed by the wake at Sherburn aeroclub.

We are having a kids bowling afternoon on Saturday 21st December at 3pm at xscape Castleford. If you want to join in please let Anne know or reply to this message. We have loads signed up already so please let us know sooner than later. ![]()
Payment will be on the day direct to the bowling alley.
Following today’s AGM, we see Martin, Liz and Malcom stepping back from their roles as commodore, secretary and committee member respectively and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you from all of us at Beaver Sailing Club for the many years of dedication they and their families have devoted to the Club. It is with great expectations we look to the future and welcome Anne Nicklin, as our first female commodore, John Simpson, taking over Club secretary role from Liz, Rachel Simpson and Brian Hatfield joining the committee. ![]()
Anne will be ably assisted by Ian Parkhurst in his role as vice commodore with Dave Nicklin taking over as membership secretary.![]()
